Brighten the Day!

My sweet college girl stopped on her way home from to work to bring these pretty, fresh flowers home after a long workday. Will they last forever? No, but the thoughtfulness will live in my heart a long time.

There’s something about thoughtfulness on an ordinary day. To know someone took action on the thought of you can uplift a spiraling soul. Ordinary days sometimes carry pain that others know nothing of.

Imagine being the instrument of encouragement God uses in a person’s life. It may not be flowers, but maybe a simple word via text or note. It may take the form of a meal or a gift card. It could be a package of expensive diapers for a mother in need. It may be actually noticing a person and speaking a sincere word of blessing. Has anyone ever brought you a favorite refreshing drink or coffee out-of-the blue?

Brighten the Day!

Little acts of kindness are big to the one who knows they are thought about… AND to God Who sees every cup of water offered and every deed done in response to the Holy Spirit’s prompting.

How sweet to not only know the love of Christ Himself which is enough, but to also feel it through the hands of His children.

“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works…” -Hebrews 10:24 KJV
