Complete in Christ

Christ is all I need.

Roses in the Snow

“You are complete in Me, and you are so loved! ” Can you hear Jesus speaking this to you in His Word this morning? Read these Scripture verses. “The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying , Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.” – Jeremiah 31:3 “And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power…” – Colossians 2:10

{All of our earthly relationships are affected by our personal relationship with God. When we realize He is the Sole-Soul-Satisfier, we can drink in His grace through the difficult relationships, and we can spill out His joy in the blessed ones. Complete in Christ, we can live with the hope that –no matter what happens– He is always working; He will never leave us; and, He will always fully love us.} – Jeri Lynn Wilkerson | Morning Joy Compositions

Being complete (a whole person) and being loved (perfectly and unconditionally) is only possible by the power and love of the sinless Christ. The best of the best will disappoint, even if in a minute way. There is no disappointment in Jesus. No matter what my circumstances, I can be whole, and I am wholly loved by a holy God. Sometimes, we drift from Him by expecting another person or another situation to make us feel whole inside or to fill voids that only He can fill. Jesus is the Sole-Soul-Satisfier! Christ is all we need, YET He gives us so much more abundantly than our great need. All is grace! He is a wonderful Savior!
