Proverbs 31:25 “Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.”
This woman respects herself, seeing herself as loved by the King of Kings! She looks into the mirror and sees a woman fashioned by God, created with specific features and gifts. She does not allow anyone to diminish her view of God or God's view of her. She trusts God to be her defense and stay in the midst of difficulties or attacks. She handles matters with wisdom and people honorably – even adversaries. She is confident in God. She knows He will reward her for doing right even when it seems she is losing now.
Psalm 23:4 “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: or thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”
Psalm 115:1-3 “Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto Thy name give glory, for Thy mercy, and for Thy truth's sake. Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God? But our God is in the heavens: He hath done whatsoever He hath pleased.”
