As the school year approaches at roaring speed,
Planning for the new year is my current need.
Everywhere I think, all my calculations
Turn into overwhelming multiplications.
Curriculum, courses, computers, and crayons,
Charts, challenges, and chalkboards to write on,
Lunches and laundry, love and learning,
Lists and lessons, ideas burning.
Wisdom and wit, dollars and cents,
In light of eternity -my life well spent.
