Trust is the natural result of being known and loved.
• If you do not KNOW God LOVES you, you will not TRUST Him.
• If you KNOW God LOVES you, you can TRUST Him.
God created us in His image. His relationship with us is our example for all relationships.
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” ~ Genesis 1:27 KJV
• If you do not KNOW a person LOVES you, you cannot TRUST them.
• If you KNOW a person LOVES you, you can TRUST them.
KNOW: surety, confirmation, without question

LOVE: proven actions for your best good

TRUST: confidence, faith,
“I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” ~ Psalm 91:2
To know Jesus loves us is foundational to trusting Him.
One of my favorite songs is "Jesus loves me, this I know - for the Bible tells me so." It reminds me He's with me, He's looking out for me, He wants the best for my life, and He will never break my trust! He is faithful and unchanging.
Maybe your trust has been broken by a person. It has been said it takes a long time to build trust, but it can be lost in a moment. This is true of people, but never of God! Whisper the words to this song or sing it out loud, "Jesus LOVES me - this I KNOW!"
