With gratitude to God, I have the capability and desire to begin this blog/website. I pray it will bring glory to Him in every way. I appreciate the sincere heart of my husband who encourages me to use my God-given gifts, though they are different from his. My Godly parents and brothers have been a lifetime source of support – listening to my ideas and songs with a patient ear. My in-laws are my dear friends, and I adore my slew of nieces and nephews. The Lord established friendship, and has blessed me with friends who have given me help and insight. Our children are one of my biggest motivations in beginning this website. As they are growing and maturing, I have a natural sadness in that they will leave our "nest;" yet, I have a natural hope -dreams- that they will "fly" high in whatever God leads them to do with their lives. Our pastor says that our children should see us thriving in whatever God leads us to do, although, there are certainly times of mere surviving. Through it all, whether thriving or surviving, God is with us and has a work to accomplish in us and through us. It is time for me to look through this open window of opportunity, and see with eyes of faith the work God can perform through this saved by grace, Southern gal.
