Place familiar,
Perspective new,
Look Upward! Oh, my soul,
Your Maker sees you.
Though winter brings brown,
The skies still have blue,
Through changes and seasons,
God is faithful and true,
Doors of opportunity
Open and close;
Windows through which
Blessing still flows.
Look through, look over,
Look up, look out,
With eyes of faith,
Fear not; flee away doubt:
In place familiar,
In places unknown,
Look Upward! Oh, my soul,
Live in view of Home.
